I love jets. Won 2 gift certs at an ice bears game (which I also love) during the puck toss. Fantastic pizza. Really nice people. Good place to catch a game on t.v., eat some good food, and have an adult beverage.
This was my first visit to Jets and will probably be my last. The atmosphere felt cheap. The restaurant was dirty. They got an order wrong in my party. The pizza wasn't I've close to the best I've had. It felt more like a cheap bar than a restaurant. I was disappointed.
Jet's pizza is one of my favorite chains. Although their signature pizza resembles more a pizza-focaccia rather than the classic Italian thin pizza, it executes it well. The dough is not sweet like most and the tomato is just tomato. No disgusting added spices. Good flavor, accentuated by the slightly burnt edges. A good casual pizza. I just wish it were a bit cheaper.
We quit ordering to the house because the pizza was not warm. So we went to Jet's in Farragut. It still took over 45 minutes to get served. Waitress told us that we got held up with to go orders. Go figure. Then we we got the pie, the crust edges were burnt all down one side. Love you Jet's but we will be exploring other pizza options. Too many pizza places to wait that long for burnt pizza.
