Appetizers were ok. But the steaks are phenomenal! No need to put steak sauce on it and very juicy and tender. If you love steaks, you won't be disappointed!
Was going to get the big rib eye until I found out you just got one side with this 24.00 steak. I'm used to getting a baked potato and a salad with my 24.00 steak. Could have had both for another $3.00. Since I was already there, I just got an over priced sandwich with french fries. What's left of this 25.00 gift card and one more at the house means I am done with Longhorn. You got to be rich to eat here. The steaks are good but I use to get 2 sides with this steak for the 24.00. Corporate greed finally drove me away. How much could a lousy salad cost them? The sandwich I ended up with cost 12.55 with tax and water. The server was great. The sandwich was not, but then I came for a steak and not a sandwich, so my opinion on the sandwich could be off compared to yours. Now for the good news, just down the road, maybe a mile, Texas Roadhouse if you can stand the noise from their so called music, they give you two sides with their steaks. Ear muffs and ear plugs recommended if you go there.
Way too much salt/msg on the steak and burgers, staff was friendly and management understanding about the "bold " flavor, creamed spinach more like fresh steamed.
This was our 3rd visit to the Turkey Creek location. It has been consistently good but tonight the service was FANTASTIC! Matthew was our server and it was hands down the BEST service I have had in the last 10 years! I even told his manager how happy we were with our dinner but especially with Matthew. The steaks and salads were really good. I would definitely recommend this place. Ask for Matt's section. I don't think you will be disappointed.
